This style of setting was commonly reserved for pressure setting, but in order for the pressure to adequately hold the diamond, the ring needed to be quite thick and heavy. To produce a lighter ring, we made a little seat for the stone without sacrificing that most desirable “floating diamond” feel to the ensemble. The deep comfort curve on the inside and the ring’s light barrel profile on the outside make for an unobtrusive, beautiful and comfortable addition to any jewellery collection.
